The transport of the coal and / or coke to the silo of stored, realizes, generally, by means of carriers of band that they take the material up to the point of filling, being able, these carriers, rest directly on the structure Domo, which shapes the silo store.

The geometry of the structure Domo can be formed in accordance with the determining ones of area of available ground, height, types of coal to storing etc. Generally the most suitable solution is of circular geometry in plant and of revolution in gathering, there being obtained a spherical section of total reduced height. Nevertheless there can be realized other geometries that are needed.

The capacity of these parks of stored with structures Domo, they change of between 5.000 TN. to 100.000 TN.

Subsistence of the coal:

The structures Domo are totally airtigth to the emission of solid particles and acoustic or thermal waves on the outside, and impermeables to the penetration of direct dampness or for condensations. Achieving with it an important energetic saving in the final process to which this fuel is destined.

The stored can carry out in different heaps separated between them, if it is the case, for dividing walls constructed of radial form in plant.

The extraction is realized, generally, of mechanical and automatic form by means of extractores of buckets, that they take the coal to a central chute placed under level 0,00 and that in turn it comes out into a carrier of band who realizes the extraction up to the exterior of the silo - store. These operations are controlled and handle from the exterior without the need of personnel inside the silo Domo.
